Spaghetti with clams

INGREDIENTS

SERVINGS: 5
  • 18 oz spaguetti
  • 1 pound clams
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • half a handful of chopped parsley
  • 4 oz white wine
  • 2 chilis (optional)
  • 3 tbsp GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

Place the pasta in a pot of boiling water and cook for 6 to 8 minutes. Once it's ready, remove the spaghetti, drain and set aside.

While the pasta is cooking, add a glug of GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sauté the peeled and minced garlic.

Add the whole chili (if you don’t like it spicy, you can skip this step).

Now, add the clams to pan and stir for 1 to 2 minute or until they begin to open.

Add half the chopped parsley and the white wine. Leave for a moment until the alcohol evaporates.

Add the pasta to the pan, season with salt and pepper to taste and rest to let the flavors combine.

Remove the pan from the heat and add the rest of the chopped parsley.
