Pico de gallo & guacamole

  • For Pico de Gallo:
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 0.5 purple onion
  • 0.5 handful fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime
  • salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 drops of tabasco (optional)
  • For guacamole:
  • 4 ripe avocados
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 1 purple onion
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lime
  • GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil

PREPARATION

Wash and finely chop the tomatoes and do the same with the half onion and cilantro.

Next, mix everything in a large bowl and add the salt, freshly ground black pepper, the juice of one lime and a good splash of GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Mix everything, and if you want a touch of heat, add a few drops of tabasco.

Let´s prepare guacamole. Start by washing all the vegetables in plenty of water and finely chop the tomatoes. Peel and chop the onion and cilantro.

Next, cut the avocados in half and remove the stone.

Now mash the avocados with a fork and mix with the tomato, onion and cilantro.

Season with lime juice, a good splash of GOYA Extra Virgin Olive Oil and salt to taste.

Finally, place the pico de gallo in a bowl and the guacamole in another, and serve with nachos.
