Sift the flour into a bowl, add the sugar, salt and GOYA® Light Flavor Olive Oil. Begin mixing using your fingertips so the flour absorbs the oil.

Add the water and continue to mix with your hands until the ingredients come together to form a ball. Do not over knead, just bring all the ingredients together.

Shape into a ball and leave the dough to rest wrapped in cling film for about half an hour in a cool place or even in the fridge.

To make the filling, add the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and corn starch to a pan on the stove. When it begins to boil, leave to cook for a further 3 minutes

Next, slice the apples into 1/4-inch slices and add to the pan, leaving to cook for 8 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool.

Now, roll out ¾ of the dough 1/4 inch thick and place in a round pie dish, adding the apple filling on top.

With the remaining dough, cut 1/4-inch strips and cover the pie with the strips, creating a lattice.

Preheat the oven to 360° F and when it is up to temperature, put the pie in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dough is golden in color.
