We close the month of July by sharing the activity of the Goya Antonio Unanue Chair.
On July 3 and 4, the Goya Antonio Unanue Chair participated in the XXVIII International Congress on Project Management and Engineering, with the presentation of 6 communications.
In this edition, the communications presented have focused on improving productivity in companies in the food sector through Lean methodology, digitalization or product design through Artificial Intelligence techniques in the food industry.
The AEIPRO Congress is an international forum for debate and exchange of ideas for professionals and companies related to Project Management and Engineering. The conference proceedings will be indexed in SCOPUS and all publications will also have a DOI.
New publications
Likewise, the Chair continues to promote the dissemination of studies on engineering in the agri-food industry. Thus, it has published a study on the characterization of the agri-food sector to design alternative strategies for the management of food sustainability.
This study carried out by Luvis Paola Leon Romero, Francisco Zamora Polo, Amalia Luque Sendra, Misaela Francisco-Márquez and Mario Aguilar-Fernández, shows tools such as the viable system model, to analyze the dynamics and generate the balanced scorecard, to which the items of learning and continuous improvement are added.
