As in the 2019 edition, Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition (LAIOOC) awarded 3 medals to Goya extra virgin olive oils: gold medal for Goya “Único”, silver medal for “Organics” and bronze medal for the new Goya Natural Garlic Flavor Extra Virgin Olive OIl.
With these awards, Goya España reinforces its commitment to offering consumers on five continents the best quality Spanish extra virgin olive oil, the basis of the Mediterranean diet.
The 2020 edition of the Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition, one of the best-known competitions at a global level, is the first year that it has been celebrated at an international level. This year, the number of participating oils has been exceeded, with a total of 750 oils presented from Algeria, Australia, Chile, China, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Morocco, Portugal, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey and the United States.
