Once again, Goya olive oils have triumphed at the EVO IOOC contest. The 9th edition of this contest, held in the city of Palmi (Italy), awarded a total of five gold medals to Goya extra virgin olive oils.

In the 2024 edition of the contest presided over by Antonio G. Lauro, a total of 25 experienced olive oil tasters from 11 countries evaluated 671 samples from 28 countries, including 592 extra virgin olive oils and 79 flavored olive oils. Spain participated with a total of 56 firms and won 38 medals.
About the competition
Since its first edition in 2016, EVOIOOC has been included in EVOOwr as one of the top five international extra virgin olive oil competitions and first in Italy.
The contest is committed to promoting quality EVOO and EVO oil-based condiments. For this reason, only producers who can guarantee the traceability and origin of their products can participate in the competition.
